The Ministry of Health on March 18 reported 36 more cases of Covid-19, all but one of which were linked to the February 20 community outbreak.

The imported case is a Filipina who arrived in Cambodia from the Philippines on March 3.

The 35 cluster cases include one American, nine Vietnamese and two Chinese nationals, with the rest being Cambodian, bringing the country's third community transmission cases to 1,025 in less than a month.

The ministry also reported 58 recoveries, 54 of which were linked to the February 20 event.

As of March 18, Cambodia had recorded a total of 1,541 Covid-19 cases, with 640 receiving ongoing treatment and one death.
