The construction of the Chaom Chao overpass and underpass in Phnom Penh's Por Sen Chey district, just east of Phnom Penh International Airport, has been 80 per cent complete and is expected to be ready as planned by next March.
The municipal Department of Public Works and Transport said on August 20 that the overpass and underpass are constructed by the Overseas Cambodian Investment Corporation (OCIC) for the duration of 30 months at a cost of $22 million.
The interchange is divided into three parts, connecting to national roads 3 and 4 and Veng Sreng Street.
The underpass was put into use last October to ease traffics after the construction broke ground in June 2018.
