The Japanese government will provide a grant of $3 million to Cambodia for scholarships and human resource development in the country for this year.

According to a press statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation on July 23, minister Prak Sokhonn and Japanese ambassador Masahiro Mikami will sign the exchange documents on July 26.

“This grant will greatly contribute to human resource development in Cambodia and strengthen bond between the two countries,” it said.
