Phnom Penh municipal police are questioning 65 people including Cambodian and Chinese nationals after they raided Sixty Six Restaurant Pub & Lounge in Boeung Keng Kang district’s Tuol Svay Prey II commune early on Monday and seized a large amount of drugs.

Police spokesperson San Sok Seyha told The Post on Monday: “We cannot yet give detailed information regarding this case because now a specialised working group is continuing to question them and investigate it further. Currently, the group is continuing to investigate them.”

Sok Seyha confirmed that early on Monday, police forces raided the restaurant and detained the 65 suspects.

“We took some evidence already, including drugs. Now we are investigating further,” he said.

District police chief Sim Piseth declined to comment on Monday, saying the case was in the hands of the municipal police.
