KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia (AP) - South Africa is studying Malaysia's constitution as
a possible model because of its success in dealing with multiracial problems, a South
African official said on Feb. 16.
P.J. Botha, South Africa's consul general for Singapore and Malaysia, said Malaysia
was one of several countries selected for study for a new South African constitution
after his nation's dismantling of apartheid, or racial separation policies.
