Following last week's events, when Prime Minister Hun Sen proposed redistributing the Cambodia National Rescue Party’s National Assembly seats among minor opposition parties, the controversial amendments were passed at a Senate meeting today by 40 out of 61 senators. All 40 votes were from members of the ruling Cambodian People's Party.
