The Siem Reap Provincial Administration has decided to extend its nighttime curfew for another two weeks through July 24 to curb the spread of Covid-19.
In a notice on July 15, it said travel and non-essential business activities are banned from 8pm-4am.
On July 16 alone, the provincial authorities reported 92 Covid-19 cases, 23 of which were imported from Thailand.
As of July 16, the province had recorded a total of 2,983 cases with 1,165 recoveries and 26 fatalities.
