The Ministry of Public Works and Transport said three national roads that have been constructed with Double Bituminous Surface Treatment (DBST) will be be upgraded with asphalt concrete (AC).

Speaking during a technical working group meeting held online on August 19, minister Sun Chanthol said the plan covers National Road 41, which connects to national roads 3 and 4; National Road 31, which connects to National Road 3 in Kampot province’s Kampong Trach district; and National Road 33, which connects Kep province to Kampot’s Kampong Trach district.

“The contract to upgrade these three national roads has been signed already and we are looking forward to opening construction soon,” Chanthol said.
