Police in Preah Sihanouk’s Prey Nop district yesterday nabbed a pair of alleged animal rustlers who may be responsible for a spree of livestock thefts.
The suspects, aged 22 and 30, were arrested during a patrol, questioned and sent to provincial court. Police confiscated two buffaloes, one cow and a motorbike.
Authorities had been on the lookout for the alleged thieves since three farmers in a local village repeatedly complained about stolen animals.
