A trucker destroyed a Phnom Penh grocery store on Tuesday but, in stark contrast to others previously immortalised in the blotter, this character wasn’t reported to have been guzzling beer in his cab prior to the incident.

Instead, the trucker was forced to swerve to avoid a moto coming from the opposite direction, but lost control and careened into the store.

The truck’s owner promised to compensate the shopkeeper and no one was injured. No harm, no foul.
