Finding himself short of an alibi, a Phnom Penh drug dealer tried sprinting away from police but ended up short of breath – and arrested – yesterday.

The 27-year-old was walking down the road in Tuol Tompoung I commune but, when he saw the boys in blue, got nervous and turned on his heels and fled.

The pursuit didn’t last long, however, and he was found with two bags of his illegal product before being carted to the interrogation room while a case was assembled.
