Don’t underestimate the long memory of the law

A justice-dodging border hopper was arrested by police yesterday. Having previously been indicted for robbery by a judge in Battambang, the man snuck over the border to Thailand, where he worked as a construction worker.

Assuming the heat had died down, just 10 days later, he returned to Cambodia. Police had better memories than he gave them credit for and arrested him.
