A pain-in-the-neck drunk went for a fellow villager’s jugular with a machete during an argument on Sunday in Kampong Chhnang.

A group of neighbours had assembled for drinks in Boribor district before a row broke out. Insults were traded and one man decided to come at his rival with a blade.

Revellers restrained the aggressor until police arrived to arrest him and his foe was taken to the hospital.
