A foolhardy man behind the wheel of a Range Rover slammed into the gate of Gold Tower 42 building in the capital’s Meanchey district in the wee hours of Wednesday morning.
The driver, who was carrying two passengers, was reportedly moving at full speed when he tried to take a right turn, hit the tower and then a tree before coming to a full stop.
Unhurt, the man attempted to flee the scene but was stopped by an intrepid onlooker before cops threw cuffs on the reckless rover and impounded his mangled ride.
The passengers walked away with minor injuries.
