Long arm of law has even longer memory

A cold case heated right back up over the weekend when a man was arrested by Oddar Meanchey province police for a robbery he allegedly committed eight years ago.

Saying the suspect had fled to Thailand shortly after holding up a Svay Rieng money transfer shop in 2010, cops received word through the grapevine that he was back in town, so they paid him a visit.

After making the arrest at long last, officers set him up with a date in provincial court.
