A 31-year-old mechanic was arrested after police raided his Chbar Ampov district property and found nine bags of crystal meth.

Police had suspected the man was dealing drugs and applied for a warrant to search the premises.

The man was yesterday in custody while the authorities prepared documents to send him to court.
