Two moto-mounted bag snatchers earned themselves a well-deserved beating at the hands of a mob after underestimating the tenacity of one tourist in Daun Penh late on Wednesday night.

The pair’s victim was travelling in a tuk-tuk when the scoundrels struck and tried to relieve her of her bag.

But the woman gave as good as she got, yanking back the bag and hollering for help. Passersby and police then apprehended the crooks.
