A 30-year-old violent husband who was unable to change his ways ended up back in the big house after his homecoming proved less a cause for celebration but for consternation for his long-suffering family.

Having already been banged up for domestic abuse, the man fell swiftly into old habits on returning home, lashing out at his wife and father-in-law, and destroying the house.

His wife then called the cops, who arrested the man and are sending him to court.
