The National Assembly is discussing a draft law on disabled people’s
rights this week that could require developers to take disabled access
into account for all buildings used by the public. Under the draft law,
all areas, buildings, premises, and transportation means owned by the
state, public or private entities open to the general public must be
accessible to people with disabilities unless the building qualifies
for an exemption.
