With a new look, new brand commitment and the recent launch of two new products, Prudential Cambodia, the Kingdom’s leading life insurer, has had a lively start to its sixth year of operations in the country.
The new look, featuring a revamped company logo, is part of the recently launched “We DO” campaign, which introduced a vibrant, fresh look to the trusted brand, anchored by Prudential’s commitment to customers: “Listening. Understanding. Delivering.”
“We DO” celebrates the drive and optimism of people looking to progress in life. As the country’s leading life insurer, Prudential Cambodia is proud to be a trusted partner to its customers as they pursue their passions and navigate life’s milestones."
“We DO means we are a part of our customers’ world. Our brand commitment ‘Listening. Understanding. Delivering.’ reinforces our focus on human connections, simplicity and innovation for our customers. In this highly digital, interconnected world, we will continue to deliver to them the same excellence in care and service that we are known for and enhance their experience and long-term relationship with us,” said Prudential Cambodia CEO David Nutman at the brand relaunch in January this year.
Further to its brand relaunch, the company has also added two new insurance products, PureProtect and SafeLife, to its offerings in Cambodia, with a focus on more protection for insured individuals and their loved ones.
SafeLife is an affordable protection solution designed to help Cambodians safeguard their financial security if the primary breadwinners are no longer available to support their families by providing funds to help them meet their financial commitments, such as housing expenses and children’s education fee.
PureProtect is a protection solution aimed at individuals looking for high value protection, such as owners of privately-owned businesses, to ensure the continued operations of the business and reduce the financial burden for families if an unfortunate event occurs.
“Prudential Cambodia continues to lead the way in offering tailored life insurance solutions in the Kingdom. SafeLife and PureProtect are designed to reduce the financial stress that families and privately-owned businesses face in the unfortunate event of death or total permanent disability (TPD) of the policyholder at a very low affordable cost,” added David Nutman.
SafeLife comes in three price packages, aimed at providing the optimal coverage for policyholders and ensuring the Prudential policy matches the customer’s income and risk appetite. For example, under the standard “bronze” package, a 35-year-old male could pay an annual premium of around $81 for 20 years to ensure his family would receive up to $10,000 in the event of the death or TPD of the policyholder.
Customers interested in higher protection can buy PureProtect with a Sum Assured based on their needs, which would be payable in the unfortunate event of death or TPD to help their families manage financially while the business transitions from the loss. For example, a 35-year-old male business owner could choose to buy a Pure Protect policy with a Sum Assured of $ 1,000,000 to ensure business continuity in an unfortunate event for an annual premium around USD 9,906 for 30 years.
Alongside the two new products, Prudential Cambodia has also introduced Safety+, a rider on top of these new products which provides customers with the option to raise the sum assured, such that the amount to be received by the policy beneficiaries would be increased by additional 100% in the unfortunate event of a death or TPD of the policyholder.
“The addition of Safety+ enables further customisation of coverage that meets our customers’ unique needs. Prudential is proud to provide Cambodians with long-term financial planning services to support the fast-emerging middle-class population as economic stability continues to strengthen,” said David Nutman.
Since establishing operations in 2013, Prudential Cambodia has introduced a wide range of Cambodia-specific life insurance protection plans, including eduCare, Loan Assure, easylife and PRUmyfamily, which offer peace of mind to families.
The company has also rolled out several community investment programmes in Cambodia, including the donation of road safety barriers to schools across the country; supporting early childhood education; with its First Read programme; promoting financial literacy among children through the popular Cha-Ching cartoon series; and STEM education workshops in partnership with the Ministry of Education to equip Cambodians students for a digital future.
