The Kampong Phluk Community-Based Ecotourism resort consists of three villages on the shore of the Tonle Sap Lake. It can be found approximately 16 kilometres from the district capital of Prasat Bakong, in Siem Reap province.
During the rainy season, the community is surrounded by water, creating a stunning natural landscape. However, in the dry season, the water recedes, leaving behind a lush mangrove forest.
Both domestic and international tourists are drawn to this destination for its unique combination of natural beauty and local culture.
Visitors can explore the stilted houses of the floating villages or catch a glimpse of some of the Kingdom’s rarest bird species.
